I don’t know how anything can be more British…
I am a Writer and an English Student, so my shelf changes a lot. There are books I mean to read, books from the library, books I mean to share with friends, gift books, books for classes, and books I hold on to for rereading or reference. Also have several magazine issues like Wine Spectator and comics like the latest Hellboy series.
On the shelf, just finished reading Let The Water Hold Me Down by Michael Spurgeon, who teaches at the college I’m attending now.
Just left the shelf Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere. First time reading a Gaiman novel.
Those little books you see are poems from Poems-For-All. Three of my favorties:
- "The Truth" by Ted Joans
- "The Artist’s Duty" by Kenneth Patchen
- "Get Drunk" by Charles Baudelaire
Thanks to all of you for sharing your shelves. I love following this tumblr.
(p.s. you can also see the little “Toro” that lives on my shelf, currently in front of Gatsby and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?)
Bookshelfies shared my shelf last week!
